The Chandler Police Department released footage that captured a July incident in which officers opened fire on a fleeing suspect that led to an accident, seriously injuring several people.

Authorities released body camera footage of a shooting involving Arizona police that led to a multi-vehicle crash that seriously injured several people.

The incident involving Chandler police officers happened in late July, WBBH-TV reports. A woman had called police concerning a suspicious RV parked on her property.

When officers reached the scene, they tried to get the man to exit the vehicle, but he refused, turning the call into a barricade situation. The suspect eventually started the RV and crashed through a driveway gate.

Officers opened fire after the RV collided with a truck and a tow truck. The RV then was involved in a multi-vehicle accident, which left several people seriously injured.

Arnold Javier Serrano, 32, was arrested following the crash with the RV, which was stolen. It's unclear if he was injured by the gunfire. Serrano had an outstanding felony arrest warrant at the time of the incident, and he faces multiple charges.
